Motor neurone disease and acupuncture

Acupuncture has a direct effect on c fibres leading to potential symptomatic relief of many neuromuscular disease. I just found the following article researching GB34 a common point for muscle and tendon issues. While interesting that the use of one point does not create a treatment protocol by itself, A Liver 3 Gb34 combination would be far better in to sustain longer lasting effects. Interesting to note they still managed to gain results based on such a simple point selection. Acupuncture can be a very effective even when a Mc acupuncture treatment plan is adopted.  A very powerful treatment modality without the drug side effects.   http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22943145
